How it all started

Hello there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Alice and these are my (mostly internal) adventures.

I started this blog as a way of regulating myself during the stresses and strains of the final year of my doctorate. This ended in September 2012 and I started a new chapter of my life. This blog is all about my adjustment to what ever life throws at me. It is also a way of keeping myself on track and developing myself as a person.

I had high hopes for this blog, I loved all the beautiful blogs I kept stumbling upon and I hoped that this would look creative and lovely; full of cupcakes and crotchet projects. It turns out that, for now at least, that’s not really me. I’ve got a bit more work to do on myself before this can be ‘that blog’.

Please do pop in and see where I’ve got to in my journey. I hope to learn and maybe teach a little along the way.
